Each memorial urn is lovingly handcrafted by artist Megan Billings. Urns are individually "thrown" and shaped by hand on the potter's wheel. Porcelain
The majority of our pottery cremation urns are thrown with porcelain clay. Porcelain is smooth, durable, and yields vibrant glaze colours. Modern styles that make a beautiful addition to your home.
The urn lids have a flange, making it easy to seal with silicone.
Raku
Raku is a special firing technique that enables beautiful dramatic glaze effects not found in conventional pottery.
"Saggar-fired" and "Horse-hair" are specific techniques under the umbrella of Raku, with particular elegance and charm.
