Each piece is thrown on the potter's wheel and made by hand from a lump of clay. Megan employs many different decorative techniques to make each urn truly unique. Your loved one or beloved pet deserves a special resting place.
Porcelain & Raku
The majority of my work is made with porcelain clay. Porcelain is durable and yields vibrant colour options,
Raku is a special firing technique that enables unique glaze effects not found in conventional pottery. Raku is a very hands-on technique, resulting in delicate and wondrous blackened clay.

All sizes available, from little vessels for keepsake or small pet urns, to x-large urns. Each listing is for one unique work of art.

Customization
We're happy to discuss a combination of elements you see here: size, shape, colour & texture. However each new piece will be unique. Please keep in mind that new creations take time, and may be 2-3 months for completion. Requests to copy someone else's work will not be considered.
Sizing
A commonly held belief is that the volume required for an urn is equal to 1 cubic inch per pound of body weight. This notion is flawed, however, as cremation remains are bone ash alone (not muscle, etc). This estimate is more accurate when using the average weight for an individual's height.
