Frequently Asked Questions
Do you make custom urns?
Custom requests are considered case-by-case. A particular size, style & colour combination may be quite possible. However, some glaze effects are extremely difficult to replicate. Handmade urns take time, so custom requests may be 6+ weeks for completion. Requests to copy another's work will not be considered.
It is wise to purchase ahead for myself?
Absolutely! In fact it is one of the most thoughtful things that you can do for your loved ones. Loss is extremely stressful, with many decisions to make. These handcrafted vessels are beautifully decorative and unique.
How are urns measured?
The height (with lid), and widest diameter, are listed for each urn, in Centimeters. The volume of each urn is provided in both Liters and cubic inches. Cubic inches are helpful for urn sizing (see next).
What size urn do I need?
It's commonly believed that the volume required for an urn is equal to 1 cubic inch per pound of body weight. This is not a perfect equation, however, as cremation remains are solely bone ash. The estimate is most helpful when using an average weight for the individual's height.
Can I bring my own urn to the funeral home, or do I need to purchase one of theirs?
You can absolutely provide your own unique urn. The funeral home will typically transfer the ashes on your behalf and seal the lid.
What is the best way to secure the lid?
Apply a bead of silicone around the rim of the urn, then place and center the lid. Should it need to be removed later; wiggle the lid back and forth to loosen the silicone bead. Silicone is available at hardware stores (squeeze tube is easiest).
Where are the urns made and shipped from?

When do orders ship? How are they packaged?

That being said, in a case of damage please get in touch immediately. Megan will ship a replacement or refund your purchase.
Do Tariffs or import fees apply for international orders?
US Customers: Unfortunately an IEEPA Tariff is applied to all orders, at 35%. According to new US Government mandates, it must be pre-paid.
The purchaser is responsible for all duty and import fees charged by the recipient country. Delays at customs are beyond anyone's control and may affect delivery time.
